From time to time we have some plate stands that we can't sell as part of our regular line. Closeout and Specials can be a number of things:

- Product overruns

- Private labeled items

- Discontinued products

- Discontinued colors

- Seconds

Seconds are pedestals with finish flaws. They have a scratch in the lacquer or the colors don't match, or something small and cosmetic which doesn't allow us to sell it as first quality. We never send out mechanically defective pedestals. This is a great way to save a few dollars even though 99 out of 100 people will never see the problem.
